The new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X is our first look at an all-new electric SUV that’s set to be revealed in full next year.

New 2025 BMW Vision Neue Klasse styling
The new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X introduces bold new styling cues for BMW’s electric SUVs. The design is intentionally simplified and pared down, and the two-box profile is inspired by the increasingly popular new BMW iX.
At the front, there’s an all-new interpretation of the BMW kidney grille for the new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X. It is an elongated 3D stricture that’s vertically aligned with LED backlit contours. The tall and narrow design is inspired by famous BMW concepts of the 1960s.
The new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X also has a new interpretation of the BMW hallmark light signature. The aim is for a strong, monolithic and clean look, say the designers, with distinctive vertical features.
The new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X has a powerful rear section with muscular sculpting. The rear lights are, like the BMW iX, L-shaped, and they feature clever 3D printed elements to create individual light signatures.
The new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X also features the famous BMW Hofmeister kink in the rear portion of the side windows – made from a ‘reflective print’ that is either transparent or reflective, depending on the viewing angle.
New 2025 BMW Vision Neue Klasse X: interior
The new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X has an advanced, futuristic interior that aim to showcase the all-new control layout coming to the firm’s next-generation models.

Sat nav and infotainment will be accessed through the new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X’s central display, with other information spanning the BMW Panoramic Vision display – which will be exposed to everyone in the car. The BMW designers say it’s a more natural and intuitive system – and will be complemented by a BMW 3D head-up display for the driver.
The new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X interior will be very high-end and finished in the latest fabrics and materials The five-seat cabin will be more space-efficient than today’s cars, thanks to the optimised EV design, and occupants can look forward to a suitably elevated seating position thanks to its SUV layout
New 2025 BMW Vision Neue Klasse X: range and performance
Full details of the new BMW Vision Neue Klasse X battery range and performance will be confirmed in the build-up to its launch. However, BMW is already making some bold claims about the new electric SUV’s EV performance.

The new BMW Neue Klasse X will have an 800-volt system that allows it to charge 30% faster. Enough charge for a 186-mile range will be delivered in just 10 minutes.
