It's not just with the latest technology that Audi rivals brands like BMW, Mercedes and more. Its finance deals are also extremely tempting to ensure you pick a car from Audi's broad range of models, rather than from one of its competitors.
If you're looking for a great deal on a new Audi, it's worth bearing in mind which models are up for replacement soon. For example, if you're looking for a premium saloon or estate instead of the typical SUV, the new Audi A5 range is now rolling out, with a choice of petrol, diesel and PHEV options, and deals on all.
Another example is that the Audi Q7 has been around in its current form since 2015, so deals are available as Audi looks to shift stocks of the old car in preparation for the new model arriving at dealerships. An ageing model is always cause for celebration if you’re looking to save money, as discounts are often up for discussion.
As with its rivals like BMW and Mercedes, Audi is incentivising the switch to go electric, with big deposit contributions available on its e-tron range of EVs, plus useful extras like free chargers and extra miles all offered to encourage you to sign up for a PCP deal that's bang on the money.

The Audi A1 Sportback will solider on until next year when production is due to finish. There's no successor currently in the product plan, so if you're in the market for the firm's posh small hatchback then why not avail yourself of Audi's £1200 deposit contribution across the A1 range? Below is a four-year, 10,000 mile per year deal on an entry-level A1 Sport.

The Audi A3 Sportback is Audi's version of the Volkswagen Golf, with the extra style, premium-feeling interior and fancy four-ringed badge all commanding higher on-the-road prices. However, if you opt for a PCP finance deal the A3 becomes a lot more affordable compared with the Golf and rivals like the BMW 1 Series thanks to a range-wide £4100 deposit contribution. This deal is for a four-year, 10,000-mile per year PCP on a mid-range A3 S Line.

The Audi A5 has arrived to replace not just the old Audi A5, but the whole A4 Saloon range as well. Combining attributes from both has landed us with a sophisticated looking saloon with a very nicely appointed interior. Audi is currently offering £6725 towards your deposit on a mid-range A5 Saloon S Line e-hybrid over four years with a 10,000-mile per year limit.

The Audi A6 Avant e-tron is the Audi to choose if you want to switch to electric, need plenty of space for a growing family but just can't get on board with the SUV trend. This deal is for an A6 Avant e-tron S Line Performance, which includes a £5100 deposit contribution. If you buy a new e-tron model from Audi, you get the choice of a free Ohme home charger worth up to £999 or get £500 off the list price, plus 30,000 free miles of home charging credit to your OVO Energy 'Charge Anytime' tariff.

The Audi Q4 e-tron is a posh and practical electric SUV crammed with technology, and, for extra peace of mind, it comes with an excellent battery range.
This S Line 40 model benefits from an Audi deposit contribution of £8750, which helps drop monthly payments down to £399 over a four-year PCP deal with 5.9% APR. The mileage limit is a useful 10,000 per year, too.

The Audi Q5 is certainly popular, but did you know this family SUV is Audi's best-selling car worldwide? Big shoes for the latest model to fill, that's for sure. As you'd expect, the latest Q5 is very comfortable to drive, practical and has a great interior, ensuring plenty of happy families - and sales - for years to come.
Get £1750 off range-wide on PCP, too, on a deal with a useful 10,000 miles a year over four years.

The Audi A3 Sportback TFSI e is effectively a Volkswagen Golf in a sharper suit with a high-tech interior and an equally high-tech plug-in hybrid drivetrain. As a result, it comes with a premium price tag, but that's at least mitigated with this PCP deal that includes a significant £7250 deposit contribution. This deal is for a four-year, 10,000-mile per year PCP on an entry-level A3 TFSI e Sport.

The Audi A6 Avant is a large, premium estate car that offers fantastic comfort for all on board. It's still a more traditional choice than an SUV, but certainly nods in a more lifestyle direction than previous Avants, albeit at the cost of boot space. That said, it's a great choice for long distance travel. Get a mid-range Avant S Line from £643 a month, thanks to a useful £3450 deposit contribution.

If you're looking for the best finance deals, sometimes it pays to consider cars which have been on the market for some time. The Audi Q7 is a case in point, as it's been on sale since 2015, but remains a good choice if your looking for a large, luxurious family SUV. To keep buyers interested, the Q7 and SQ7 ranges all have a £6050 contribution to your deposit, although it's still an expensive car so monthly payments are significant. If you're looking to save fuel and a little cash, the plug-in hybrid Q7 TFSI e gets a £10,250 deposit contribution.

This is something that can be negotiated when you are agreeing your PCP deal with your Audi dealer. Audi usually does its representative offers based on a realistic 10,000 miles per year. However, it's important to be honest with yourself about how far you're planning to drive over the course of your deal, as the car's mileage has a major impact on its value at the contract's end.
If you underestimate the number you will get a cheaper monthly payment, but could be stung with extra mileage costs if you go over your agreed limit. For example, Audi typically charges between 8 and 18p per mile.
As Audi is a premium brand, its on-the-road prices tend to be quite high, which leads to generally quite large deposits and not-insignificant monthly payments. Audi generally offers its PCP agreements as four-year deals, so your first month's payment is wrapped into your deposit, and then you'd be required to make a further 47 payments to take you to the end of your PCP term.
Interest is charged on these payments, too, but all of these costs would be written out for you before you'd be required to sign up for a deal, so you can understand the outlay required and if you could afford the payments over the full length of the PCP agreement.
Audi offers a number of finance options to help get you behind the wheel of one of its cars. The most popular option is PCP, or Personal Contract Purchase, which Audi calls Solutions Personal Contract Plan. This allows you to pay a deposit, monthly payments then, when your agreement is up, you can choose to give the car back, swap it for a new one, or pay off the remainder to own it outright.
Audi also offers Hire Purchase, where you pay larger monthly payments to own the car, or Personal Contract Hire, where you lease the car for an initial payment and monthly fee, but there is no option to own the car at the end of the agreement.
The major advantage of a PCP deal over leasing a car is that at the end of a PCP finance agreement you can make an extra payment, often called a balloon payment, in order to own the car. This payment is based on how much the car is worth at the end, plus any extra costs – for example, if you went over your mileage limit.
You don't have to make this payment – you can return the car or take out a new PCP agreement on a new car. If the car is in really good shape and hasn't been driven a lot, it might be worth more than this final payment, and that extra value can go towards your next car. If you choose to pay and keep the car, you'll be the only owner named on its V5C logbook. But remember, opting to keep the car usually comes with an extra 'option to purchase' fee to factor in, too.
As with all German premium car brands, Audi models generally hold their value well, as they are sought after on the used market by buyers who perhaps can't quite afford a brand-new model. In general, UK buyers prefer sportier trim levels, so Audi's mid-range S Line models of its regular models are likely to hold more of their value.
Step up to Audi's sporty S cars or its high-performance RS models and residual values are strong even for considerably older cars. However, as with every other brand, the firm's e-tron electric cars are less sure bets on the used market, with new EVs losing more value than their petrol equivalents over the same time period, but being an even bigger bargain if you're looking to buy used.
