The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years is a special anniversary edition of the firm’s high-performance estate car.

The collectable new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years sees power increased, special suspension fitted and exotic equipment included as standard.

A rich range of colours is also available for the new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years, including the glamourous Imola Yellow seen here.

Underlining its exclusivity, just 50 examples of the new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years will be sold in the UK.

New Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years prices start from £115,880.

The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years will provide renewed competition for the new BMW M3  Touring, in a thrilling battle of the high-performance family estate cars.

If you can’t wait for the new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years, why not search for a used Audi RS 4 on heycar?

The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years has a distinctive look with forged alloy wheels, matt carbon appearance package and the deletion of its standard roof rails.

How special is the new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years?

The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years has a series of exclusive tweaks. For starters, the 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine receives a 20PS power boost, taking it up to 470PS.

It is capable of 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds, nearly half a second faster than the regular Audi RS 4 Avant. Top speed increases to 186mph.

The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years has an RS sports exhaust system as standard, for an enhanced soundtrack, while standard RS ceramic brakes help it slow down with similar potency.

Suspension-wise, the new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years features standard RS Sports Suspension Pro, a specialist manually-adjustable coilover system that lowers it by up to 20mm over the standard car.

The Audi quattro sport differential is also standard, giving drivers of the new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years a more dynamic feel behind the wheel.

The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years has 20-inch forged alloy wheels in matt palladium, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa high-performance tyres.

In a novel touch, customers also receive an additional set of Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS semi-slick tyres, exclusively for track use.

The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years sits 10mm lower than a regular RS 4 – and owners can drop the manually-adjustable coilover suspension by an additional 10mm.

How can I spot a new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years?

The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years has a series of styling tweaks to mark it out on the road. The side window trim is now glossy black, for example, and there’s a new black inlay in the rear lights.

The Audi rings and lettering are in gloss black, while the Matrix LED headlights have RS-exclusive darkened bezels.

The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years doesn’t have any roof rails, for a flatter and sportier side profile, but does have ‘RS 4 edition 25 Years’ lettering engraved in the windows between the C- and D-pillars.

Inside, the new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years has RS bucket seats with carbon backrest, and the red Audi Sport logo is now yellow, to match the yellow stitching throughout the interior.

Lettering on the centre console depicts each car’s serial number, from 1 to 250 – only 50 of which are coming to the UK.

The new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years marks a quarter-century of high-performance Audi A4 Avant estate cars. The first was the 1999 B5-generation Audi RS4. Audi also established the idea of the performance estate with the Audi Avant RS2 in the early 1990s.

While prices for the new Audi RS 4 Edition 25 Years start from £115,880, that’s for a car in solid Nardo Grey. If you want the Imola Yellow paint, an Audi Exclusive colour, you’ll have to fork out £119,180. It is also available in Mythos Black metallic, for £116,555.

If you would rather a hatchback instead of the new Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 Years, the latest Audi RS 5 Sportback Performance Edition comes with the same 470PS engine upgrades.
