New 2024 Volvo EM90: exterior and interior
The new Volvo EM90 has a very striking exterior. It is big and boxy, in the regular MPV style, but also has ultra-modern detailing including a high-tech front end. The pixel-style headlights are stylish and the closed-off front grille is futuristic. The traditional Volvo logo is pressed into this, and is illuminated.
The new Volvo EM90 has a choice of either 19-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels. There are four different colours. All new Volvo EM90 have a large tailgate, and sliding rear doors five easy access to the back seats.
Inside, the new Volvo EM90 is lavish and luxurious. The launch version has six seats, spread across three rows, with the middle seats being rich, aircraft-style multi-adjustable chairs. They electrically recline and have an array of stowage bins and comfort-boosting gadgets. The new Volvo EM90 also has huge side windows for an excellent view out – and a massive panoramic glass roof.
To keep those in the rear of the new Volvo EM90 entertained, there is a 15.6-inch cinema-style screen that folds down from the roof. This plays video and other multimedia, with sound coming courtesy of a 21-speaker Bowers & Wilkins stereo.
In the front, the new Volvo EM90 showcases the firm’s latest ultra-clean design. There are few buttons, with controls centred on the 15.4-inch touchscreen in the middle of the dashboard. There is a supplementary driver display and buttons on the steering wheel.
The new Volvo EM90 will offer a commanding view out, thanks to its high-set seats. It also has clever quarterlights in the windscreen pillars, which will help improve visibility at junctions.

The new Volvo EM90 will serve up an extremely comfortable ride thanks to dual-chamber air suspension. It will have a glide-along feel that will be backed up by so-called ‘silent tyres’, making the interior a haven of peace and quiet.
