This is Audi's all-new Q3, and it goes on sale next month.
The Audi Q3 has been a huge success story for the German carmaker, so the arrival of the third-generation small SUV is big news. On the outside, there's a fairly conservative reinvention of the familiar Q3 look, but the interior redesign is much more comprehensive – more on that below.
So far just the Q3 SUV has been revealed, but a more coupe-like Sportback version is expected to follow later this year.
When the order books open in July, the new Q3 will be a rival for other small premium SUVs, including the BMW X1, the Lexus NX, the Mercedes-Benz GLA, the Volvo XC40 and more.
New 2026 Audi Q3: price and release date
The new Audi Q3 goes on sale from July 2025. Orders for Q3 TFSI (petrol) and Q3 TDI (diesel) can be placed then, with the Q3 E-hybrid following in August. The Audi Q3 will cost from £38,300, which is competitively priced against rivals and an increase of just over £2000 on the outgoing model.
That new entry price is for the Sport trim. The S line trim costs from £41,100 and the top-spec Edition 1 costs from £44,650 (all for TFSI models).

New 2026 Audi Q3: exterior and interior
Audi has taken inspiration from its other cars when redesigning the new Q3, with elements of the Q5 and the A6 Avant visible in its exterior look. There's an up-to-date version of the brand's single-frame grille, slimmer running lights and hidden main headlights underneath, as well as an illuminated Audi badge. Alloy wheels, ranging in size from 17 inches to 20 inches, are included across the range.
4Customers will be able to choose from nine paint colours – Arkona flat white, Glacier metallic white, Mythos black, Arrow grey, Tambora grey, Progressive red, and Navara blue, as well as a new Sage green. S line models are also available in Daytona grey and get a sportier look to the body styling.
Inside, there's a considerable change to the outgoing version. A large dual-screen display (11.9 inches for the driver display and 12.8 for the central infotainment screen) dominates the dashboard. Audi has also redesigned the steering column stalks – there's a gear selector switch on the right of the column, while on the left are controls for the indicators (using a rocker switch) and the wipers.
Acoustic glazing for the front side windows is included as standard, and there's a 488-litre boot, expandable to to 575 litres if you slide the second row of seats forward, or 1386 litres if you fold them down. A Sonus sound system is available on high-end models.

New 2026 Audi Q3: engines and gearboxes
The entry-level engine in the new Audi Q3 family is the TFSI 150PS, a four-cylinder petrol unit with mild-hybrid technology. If you do lots of long-distance driving then the disel miohght be a better option – that would be the TDI-badged unit, also with 150PS.
The plug-in hybrid option – the Audi Q3 SUV E-hybrid – has much more power at 272PS, and can be plugged in to charge its 25.7kWh battery at up to 50kW with a suitable charger. Audi says it has an electric range of up to 74 miles.
Another petrol option, the Q3 TFSI quattro 204PS, with more power and all-wheel drive, will follow at a later date, as will the still-more powerful TFSI quattro 265PS model.

New 2026 Audi Q3: trim levels
There are three trims on the Audi Q3 at launch. The Sport model comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, three-zone air conditioning, cloth upholstery and a wireless phone charger. Parking sensors, a reversing camera and adaptive cruise control are all standard.
Upgrade to S line trim and you'll get 19-inch alloy wheels, S line styling outside with tinted glass, upgraded LED headllights and the illuminated Audi badge, and leather and synthetic leather upholstery.
The top-spec Audi Q3 is the Edition 1 trim, which includes 20-inch alloy wheels, black styling elements on the outside, and matrix LED headlights, as well as microfibre upholstery and wood inlays inside.
