Volvo's popular mid-size SUV, the XC60, has been given a comprehensive update for 2025.
Already Volvo's best-selling car, the XC60 now gains a series of subtle yet meaningful improvements which the Swedish firm hopes will keep loyal Volvo customers happy and also tempt potential customers away from the likes of the BMW X3, the Audi Q5, and Mercedes-Benz GLC.
On the outside, the changes are evolutionary rather than revolutionary. A new-look front grille, fresh alloy wheel designs and dark-tinted rear lamp clusters give the XC60 a more purposeful, modern stance while retaining the clean, unfussy lines that define the brand’s Scandianvian vibe.
The most notable upgrades are inside, however. A larger, faster infotainment system brings the latest user experience already seen in Volvo’s newer electric models like the EX30 and EX90, helping the XC60 feel more up-to-date. The revised cabin has a redesigned centre console with a wireless charging pad and improved material choices including sustainable Nordico synthetic leather upholstery and a new navy herringbone fabric.
Combined with upgraded sound insulation for a quieter, more refined ride, the 2025 XC60 should up the comfort and calm levels while retaining the practicality that's seen its become so successful since its 2017 introduction.
