Hyundai has given its Ioniq 6 saloon a facelift with an all-new front end and a sporty N Line model added to the range.
The N Line version of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 previews the forthcoming Ioniq 6 N performance model, but for now customers will have to make do with a sportier looking version of the electric saloon that's won a slew of admirers since it was introduced in 2022.
The new-look Ioniq 6, unveiled at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show in South Korea, is likely to be with us later this year. Hyundai also gave a sneak peak at the Ioniq 6 N in the background of the press shot you see at the top of this page. It's hotly anticipated on the heels of the excellent Ioniq 5 N.
Updated 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6: price and release date
There's no indication of the UK release date for the updated Hyundai Ioniq 6 yet, but we'd expect it to arrive over the summer, probably with a small price rise over the current starting price of £47,050.

Updated 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6: exterior and interior
The standard Ioniq 6 ditches the round headlights of the previous version in favour of narrow daytime running lights over hidden headlights sunk into the bumper. The bumpers, by the way, are also redesigned, as are the alloy wheels, sideskirts and the rear spoiler, which is now mounted above the rear lights – which are also new.
The Ioniq 6 N Line builds on the new look with bolder, more aggressive styling, with more scupted bumpers and sideskirts and black elements taken from Hyundai's 2022 concept car, the RN22e Rolling Lab.
Inside the revised car, there's a bigger focus on comfort than before, with a redesigned steering wheel and upgraded materials that aim for a more premium feel. The layout of the centre console has been redesigned to improve usability, with a larger display for the climate controls.

Updated 2025 Ioniq 6: motors and batteries
Hyundai hasn't talked about the powertrains for the updated Ioniq 6 yet, but we don't expect much deviation from the existing offerings, which means a choice of two batteries and single or dual-motor models, although the Ioniq 6 N is likely to have a considerably upgraded system with lots of power.
Range could improve slightly thanks to the external revisions, which could mean more than 340 miles from a full battery.
