Volkswagen has opened the order books for battery-powered versions of the Transporter Shuttle and Kombi.
The arrival of the electric eight-seat Transporter Shuttle (with a ninth seat available if you want it) adds to the already available diesel model. Meanwhile, the part-van, part-MPV Kombo has space for five (or six as an option) and lots of storage space in the back – great for tradespeople that need to transport crew and equippment.
Both new variants are based on the seventh-generation T7 Transporter that went on sale earlier this year.

Diesel models come with a 110PS 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
