All-new Jeep Compass set for Spring reveal

2025 Jeep Compass teaser

Jeep's all-new Compass will be revealed in full soon, but for now we'll have to make do with these teaser images.

The third-generation mid-size SUV will replace the current Jeep Compass, which has been made since 2016. Jeep says it'll get a Spring reveal in Europe, and we should hear more technical details nearer then.

For now, we know it'll be built on parent company Stellantis's STLA Medium platform, which also underpins cars like the Peugeot E-3008 and E-5008, and the Vauxhall Grandland. There will be hybrid, plug-in hybrid and full-electric versions, and it wouldn't be a Jeep without the option of all-wheel drive.

No pricing details or firm release dates have yet been announced, but we know that it'll be revealed in full in the Spring. Production will start in Melfi, Italy in 2025.

The new Jeep Compass is built on the same mechanical platform as the Vauxhall Grandland and the Peugeot E-3008.

While no details of the new Compass's powertrains have been confirmed, we'd expect it to share engineering with other cars that use the same platform. That would suggest a 1.2-litre mild-hybrid option, a 1.6-litre plug-in hybrid and an electric model with a choice of a 73kWh and 98kWh batteries.

Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models seem certain, and electric models could have ranges of up to 435 miles with the larger battery. But we'll wait for the official announcements to confirm the Compass-specific details.
