Skoda's upgraded electric performance SUV, the Enyaq vRS, goes on sale next month.

With more power than before and updated looks, the new Skoda Enyaq vRS promises to add extra excitement to the recently revised Enyaq range, with a 5.4-second 0-62mph time and a bolder, sportier look.

Both standard Enyaq and the sleeker Enyaq Coupe get the new vRS treatment, and the upgrades should keep it competitive against cars that share the same mechanical underpinnings, like the Audi Q4 E-tron and the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX, as well as other rivals like the BMW iX3, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the Kia EV6, the Tesla Model Y and the Volvo EX40.

Updated 2025 Skoda Enyaq vRS: price and release date

The updated Skoda Enyaq vRS goes on sale from 12 June. Prices start at £51,660 for the regular Enyaq vRS, and £53,460 for the Enyaq Coupe vRS.

The vRS version gets a more aggressive look than the standard Skoda Enyaq.

Updated 2025 Skoda Enyaq vRS: exterior and interior

The format for making a vRS Skoda remains much the same in the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe as it does for other models – beef up the looks and add more power. Consequently, the Skoda designers have taken the latest facelift Enyaqs and made them more aggressive, with lower suspension (by 15mm at the front and 10mm at the back), a sportier-looking set of bumpers, 20 or 21-inch wheels and some extra paint options, notably the Hyper Green hue you see here.

Inside, there's a high-spec interior as befits the price tag, with a 13-inch touchscreen, sports seats with extra support for cornering, and a heated steering wheel.

Updated 2025 Skoda Enyaq vRS: motors and batteries

The Enyaq vRS's powertrain is taken from that of the Elroq vRS, with dual motors making a combined 340PS, which means a 0-62mph time of 5.4 seconds.

Both the SUV and the Coupe have the same setup, with an unchanged 84kWh (79kWh net) battery pack compared to the pre-faclift vRS, but with an enhanced charging rate – up to 185kW from 175kW, which mean slightly quicker refills (26 minutes from 10% to 80% capacity). You should be able to get around 340 miles from a full charge, according to official figures.

Updated 2025 Skoda Enyaq vRS: trim levels

The Enyaq vRS is essentially its own trim level, but it comes well specced with wheels as standard and 21-inch units available as an option. There are vRS badges to convey the extra performance, just in case the bodystyling isn't enough, and inside there's a heated three-spoke steering wheel upholstered with perforated. Sports seats are standard and there's a choice of two interior looks – vRS Suite and vRS Lounge. The former has leather and articificial leather upholstery with grey stitching, with carbon-look elements on the dashboard and doors, while the latter uses black microsuede and artificial leather with lime green stitching.

All models also get electric front seat adjustment, three-zone air-conditioning and mechanical sunshades for the rear side windows. A heat pump is available, but only as an option.
